Pescatore was really full of surprises! From the bright white entrance with huge crystal chandelier to the unexpected food presentation and brilliant tasty food. Who would thought to eat an oyster out of a glass jar? That was fun fun fun. The whole amazing experience was wonderful and it made me think about cooking and presenting food in another way. More interesting way. It also reminds me of Interlude in Melbourne which I wrote a post few years ago and you can see it here. They both have innovation and elegantly presented on plates.

God Bless Christchurch Part I

New Zealand Journey
Christchurch, South Island, New Zealand.

Since our flight to Queenstown has been cancelled due to Chilean volcano ashes we changed our plans and went to Christchurch instead. The city is still recovering from a serious earthquake on February 22, last year. The damage was badly done within the central city. Buildings were collapsed, shops and businesses were closed and rarely seen people walking in the streets. It was like a ghost town. So quiet and so sad. God Bless Christchurch!
